Equipment Loans

We will consider loan requests for equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, specialized computer hardware and software, hearing aids, low vision aids and other items.

Qualifying borrower must be a resident of Virginia with a disability or a family member of someone who has a self identified limitation to a major life function. A borrower must demonstrate creditworthiness and repayment abilities to the satisfaction of the loan committee.

Loans over $22,500 require a SunTrust Bank Application (PDF or Excel) and a NewWell Fund Personal Information Application (PDF  or Word). Loans under $22,500 require a NewWell Fund Personal Information Application (PDF or Word) and a NewWell Fund Direct Loan Application (PDF or Excel).

Send* both forms along with the required supporting documentation directly to the NewWell Fund for processing.

*Please do not submit your applications to the NewWell Fund via email because the applications are not encrypted and there is a risk for personal information to be obtained by others.
